Dr. Akash Bansal believes that it is a privilege to be able to help patients with their oral health needs. He takes his time to educate and answer patients' questions before proceeding with any treatment. Dr. Bansal treats patients as if they are members of his own family and truly cares about their well-being. He finds it rewarding to help patients overcome their dental anxiety by providing dental care in the most comfortable way possible.



Credentials

Dr. Akash Bansal earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University at Buffalo, focusing on Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Kerry Lim

Approach

Dr. Kerry Lim is committed to providing family dental care in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. He is committed to patient communication and believes it to be the foundation of any strong patient-dental office relationship. He makes it a priority to help patients fully understand their oral condition and any treatments we may recommend.



Credentials

Dr. Kerry Lim received his DDS degree in 1981 from the University of Toronto. Upon graduation, he was accepted into a dental internship program at St. Michael's Hospital, where he gained invaluable expertise in treating medically compromised patients and oral surgery. He was a former instructor at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in the department of Oral Medicine.

Meet the Lombard Team

The Lombard Dental team comprises of dedicated and knowledgeable staff that have been with the practice for several years, the longest being 20 years. We are a multicultural office and speak many languages such as Tamil, Sinhala, and Tagalog. We work as a team and try to make dentistry fun with effective communication as we tend to end up treating our "friends". After all, as health care providers, we are in the people's business, and the business of being with people is a joy.

Amina

With a decade of experience in the dental field, Amina has honed her skills through comprehensive studies in dental assisting and dental technology at George Brown College. Amina is passionate about providing quality care and believes in the principle of treating others as one wishes to be treated. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her son and caring for her two cats, which reflects her commitment to nurturing relationships both personally and professionally. Amina takes pride in helping others and strives to make a positive impact in their lives.

Jennifer

With three decades of experience in Dental Assisting, which dates back to the late 90’s, Jennifer's desire to learn more about the field prompted her to become a Level II PDA in 2005 where she graduated with honours. Her ability to assist with surgeries and complicated dental procedures has elevated her to become the dedicated dental assistant she is today. At the same time learning the love of the water while enjoying the skyline of the city from her family’s boat with her two children Ryan and Adrianna and her best friend Pacquiao the Bully her dog.

Selemawit

Selemawit believes that patient education and comfort are at the heart of quality dental care. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel confident asking questions. With experience across a wide range of clinical settings, Selemawit approaches each appointment with passion, client specific needs, attention to detail, and a strong focus on preventative care. Her goal is to help patients build lifelong healthy habits while ensuring their visits are informative and comfortable.

Selemawit graduated from George Brown College in 2020 and has since gained extensive clinical experience working across the Greater Toronto Area. Her background includes both general dentistry and specialty environments such as periodontics, pediatrics, and orthodontics. Committed to continued professional development, she furthered her education by obtaining an Adult Education Certificate. She went on to serve as a Clinical Instructor at the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries, where she mentored students and supported the development of their clinical skills and professional confidence.
